Oxygen "Showcase Page Template"

  Hi,
  I’m trying to use the showcase page template option that is listed on the demo.

  The instructions tell me that I should be able to use the showcase page template by selecting the option as soon as I choose the template Oxygen, but I don’t see any such prompt.

  Please advise!

  In Oxygen you can either have a Home page that displays your posts or a static front page ie. a Showcase template.

  “I can’t find the ‘Page Attributes’ module for my ‘Oxygen’ theme”

  To create a showcase template, you need to go to Pages > Add New. That’s the dashboard screen that should be displaying the Page Attributes module. If it isn’t, you click Screen Options http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ while on that screen (the page editor screen): and include all the Pages and Posts modules. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules each dashboard screen has different screen options.

  I’ve activated the oxygen theme and have the page attributes module displaying, but the “showcase template” isn’t an option in the dropdown of available page templates.

  Does anyone what the function of the “more articles” ledger is when you have the Showcase Template functioning as your home page?

  Please, anyone help! I also have trouble with this. on my blog, oxygen theme is activated and working perfectly but i can’t use it on my site. there is no showcase template at all. all i see in the template category are archives, bookmarks, frontpage, full width

  I have the showcase page available, but when I create a page to test it, the preview looks exactly like the standard page, except it blanks out the most recent post preview. If I publish it, the same thing happens.
