Oxygen slider functioning but images display small

I’d love some help. I’m a total rookie but I’ve muddled around the forums enough to get my site up and running with the Oxygen theme, I even have the featured post slider working and have made some nice customizations with the CSS upgrade.
One issue I cannot seem to find a solution for – the featured images on my sticky posts are displaying on the front page as a smaller version of themselves. They are showing but are not filling the slider box completely.
