Oxygen Slider Not Updating

Hey there,
Having trouble getting my slider to update. I un-sticky 1/6 posts to free up a spot and sticky the new post I want and it doesn’t take. In the past I made whole new showcase pages and linked to that and it seemed to work but that seems to not work now and I doubt that’s the way it NEEDS to be to work (am I wrong?). Am I just being impatient or am I missing something obvious?

Hi Markpants – could you please provide a link to the post you last unsticked, as well as the new one that’s not showing in the slider?
Are you using the WP Admin editor, or the new one with the blue background?

So it finally updated (the story about the sorority in AL) and took but I can’t figure out why there was such a delay. When I see web demos it appears to change almost instantly. Any insight would be appreciated!

Thanks for those. I looked into this a bit more and it turns out it is a known issue on our side, which our developers are still looking into. According to our testing so far, the issue seems to be restricted to the new editor, and doesn’t occur in WP Admin, so you might want to use that as a workaround for now. We’ll keep you posted here when we have any new information – sorry about the inconvenience!

No problem, I appreciate the info. In the interim is there anything I can do to accelerate the update or was it just coincidence that it updated after I created a new “showcase” page? I’m not sure if that worked or was just coincidence.
Personally, I’m fine waiting an hour or so. I’d rather deal with that than having to change my “home” reading page on a semi-regular basis.

Based on past reports and testing, the slider does seem to update right away (i.e. as expected) when stickying/unstickying posts in the WP Admin editor:
