Oxygen Theme: adding more 'Recent Articles' and eliminating 'More Articles'

  This question has been asked a few times but the answer has yet to be provided.

  I’m using the Oxygen Theme and I love it! The only problem (so far) is that I cannot figure out how to get the middle column to eliminate “More Articles” and increase the number of “Recent Articles”.

  I have searched far and wide for an answer. I know that it’s possible; I’ve seen it in action.
