Oxygen Theme Beginner

  I’ve been messing around with new themes–I find Esquire isn’t very professional. I liked the looks of the oxygen theme, but I have no idea what I’m doing. I have images in my post, but how do i get images in those preview boxes?

  Basically, could someone walk me through using the oxygen theme? I’ve been searching for awhile and it’s not making sense to me.
