Oxygen Theme – Changing Post Links!

  • Unknown's avatar

    I purchased the CSS editor which I used to remove the dates, but wanted to know if rather than people clicking on the text and being taken to the post page if I could direct them somewhere else?

    Also is there code that will remove the ‘recent articles’ and ‘more articles’ from the bottom of my home page?

    Thanks a lot for your help

    Here’s how to remove those two page sections but you can’t change the underlying functionality of the theme, so you won’t be able to change the link destinations.

    .recent-articles,
    .more-articles {
      display:none;
    }

    Actually…one more question….is there a way to remove the templates at either side so the text in the middle can spread out further?

    If you don’t want sidebars you might be better off looking for a one column theme that suits your needs or for one that offers a full-width page template.

    Here’s how to stretch the centre section and remove the sidebar areas:

    #content {
      margin:0;
    }

    #secondary,
    #tertiary {
      display:none;
    }
