Oxygen theme excerpt issues

  Hi guys,

  Massive novice here. I am running oxygen theme. I have only recently seen that there have been some changes. On my home page, under the little thumbnail of a post there would be a few sentences of the post. But now it’s been replaced with some jargon. Is there a way to get the excerpts back?   I’m not sure where that’s coming from yet, but I did notice you switched from Twenty Twelve to Oxygen about six hours ago – do recall doing that? In theory switching themes shouldn’t have caused this issue, but it might be related.

  Could you try adding a manual excerpt on the posts where you’re seeing that text?

  

  If you don’t see the Excerpts box, click the Screen Options tab at the top right and make sure the Exceprts box is checked:
