    Hi, I see you have #1 taken care of.

    2. Since the size of the feature images in the posts below the slider are set in the theme files, enlarging that image will result in a reduction in image quality since we are relying on the browser to enlarge the image, and they aren’t very good at that. The following CSS will do it. Try it and see what you think of the reduced image quality.

    img, .entry-summary img, .comment-content img, .widget img, .featured-wrapper img, .featured-image img {
        height: auto;
        max-width: 100%;
        width: 100%;
    }
    a.read-more, a.read-more:visited {
        top: 0;
    }

    3. The images that appear under the slider are additional images set as sticky posts to appear in the slider. You can set up to 6 posts as sticky posts to show in the slider. If you create additional posts, publish them as sticky posts, with featured images, they will appear below the slider and also appear in the slider.

    This is all fantastic! Thank you for your reply, its much appreciated!

    Here’s another one for you, how do you set your main page as your Showcase page, so the slider appears on the main page? We tried selecting static page (under “customize” menu, then “front”), but then we must choose another page for our “front page” and we want the slider and sticky posts to appear on the main page along with our recent posts. How do we do that?

    Thank you!

    You need to create a page to use as the front showcase page, set it to the Showcase Page Template in the Attributes module and publish it. Then you to to Settings > Reading in your dashboard and set that page as your Front Page and all the rest is taken care of. To have posts show up in the slider, you assign a feature image to the post and set it as a sticky post.

    If you also want a standard “blog” page, you can create a page for that and set that as the Posts Page at Settings > Reading.

    You can read more on setting up and using the Showcase page on the Oxygen Theme information page at: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/oxygen/ .

    Thank you for your help!

    Okay, we’ve been doing all that to no avail but I’m going to try to create a “home” page and see how that works.

    When we designate a “featured image” it keeps getting cropped in a very weird way on the main page? Can you help with this? Our heads are chopped off.

    Let us know how it goes. I took a look at your site and see you have the front page set now.

    On the featured images, the theme crops from the center of the image, and I know of no way to change that behavior. You can prepare your featured images with that in mind and keep the faces more toward the center, vertically.

    Yes :) we figured out the front page. However, the slider isn’t working. We selected two images so far as featured images, the one from the “us” page and one from the “ktown” post, but the photo from the “us” page isn’t appearing in the slider. The slider never slides, help :(

    Hi, Only posts will show in the slider. Pages will not. The two things that have to be done with posts for them to show in the slider are:

    1. The post must have a featured image of at least 750px in width. If there is no featured image, or if the featured image is less than 750px in width, the post will not show in the post slider at the top.

    2. The post has to be set as a sticky post.

    If you are not familiar with the differences between pages and posts, you can read through our support document on the differences: http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
