oxygen theme help

  I am having difficulty with this theme. How do I get the featured slider to appear? Is it now showing up because I do not have enough blog entries with featured photos (minimum 6)? I would really like this feature to appear on my blog page. Thanks!

  What is the URL starting with https:// of the post you refer to please? How many sticky posts have you placed in the slider? The maximum is 6. And did you set a featured image of the exact required dimensions in the post in question? The featured image dimensions are critical to display ans so is the sticky posts designation.

  Featured Slider
  The Showcase Page template offers a featured slider for up to six Sticky Posts http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts that have a Featured Image http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/ at least 750 pixels wide. Keep in mind: if you mark a post as Sticky but the featured image is less than 750 pixels wide, then it won’t display in the slider and will still disappear from the river of posts. https://wordpress.com/themes/oxygen/

  strongmomgo – It looks like you don’t currently have any published sticky posts, which is the older method Oxygen uses for the featured slider. Just a heads-up that this older method has an issue in Oxygen which means you’ll need to make your posts sticky in the older WP Admin dashboard, not the new one.

  You’re also welcome to look for a newer theme with a slider in our collection, which uses the newer Customizer method for setting a Featured Content tag. Instructions are in each theme’s showcase page.
