Oxygen Theme: Hover css question
-
I wish to change the “read article” to “read more” but so far I search all related topics are either display: none or other child theme etc.
However my site is hosting in wordpress, and so I can only modify in css column, is there any code I can put in it? Please kindly help.
Thank you very much for your help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can’t think of a way to change that wording. Would just hiding the “read article” button work for you, since the entire thumbnail image – as well as the post title below it – is clickable? If so, then this would do the trick:
..hentry:hover a.read-more { display: none; }I noticed that you’ve hidden the footer credit, which is not allowed on WordPress.com. You’ll need to remove that part of your custom CSS to restore the credit, which all our sites are required to maintain, including VIP clients. You may tweak the colour as long as it remains readable. Please confirm once it’s done.

Thank you for help! But I want to remain “read more”(or other wordings) instead (not “read article”)
Please advice.
Thanks again! -
I’ve looked at this and due to the way the Read Article is done in the HTML and the CSS, I also cannot think of anyway to do this. I tried a few ideas, but they did not work. Things just aren’t structured in a way that allows us to change the wording with CSS. In some themes we can, but not in Oxygen.
