Oxygen Theme: How to change the menue?

Hi,
I played around with the menue and now additionally to my black menue on the upper left side a header menue in blue writing somehow got there. I can´t figure out how to remove the header menue though please help.
Also: my last /recents post aren´t showing on my front page. How to get them there?

The oxygen theme has three possible custom menus, you can edit them in Appearance -> Menus.
The header menu is the ‘primary menu’, so what you can do, is create a new menu, and leave it entirely blank, then assign it to ‘primary menu’. It will then disappear.
The black menu on the side is the ‘secondary menu’. The tertiary menu is at the bottom of the page, the footer.

As for your posts, that might be because you’ve made the front page only display a static page.
You can edit that in Appearance -> Customisation, then click on Front, and select ‘your latest posts’.

if i select my latest posts, than my feature slides will disappear… If i have a look on the original oxygen theme, the developer has both combined….

I came up with a different question. I can´t find a widget to put share buttons like facebook and twitter onto the page, although I did choose them in the settings…
can u assist? -
Hmm, I’m not sure about the feature slides, someone else will have to help with that.
As for the sharing buttons, I assume you mean so people can share your posts on twitter and facebook. That’s in Settings – > Sharing, and you need to put the buttons in to ‘Enabled Services’. If you want a facebook like button, that’s in widgets.

never mind, it seems that just posts can be shared but not the actual “Home” – Page.
But still i would like to have the combined oxygen design with static fucntion (featured slide show) and recent posts…

The slider displays up to six posts you mark as stickies. The recent articles section displays your latest three regular (non-sticky) posts, and the more articles section displays a further group of recent posts. So you can’t have the “combined design” before you publish more posts.
