Oxygen theme not working on IE7

    I have created a new blog for staff in my workplace using the Oxygen theme. It appears fine using Firefox and Internet Explorer 8, but the homepage jumps around a few seconds after loading in Internet Explorer 7. Can anyone advise me on how to stop this? Not all staff’s PCs will be upgraded to IE8.

    I’m not surprised to hear that as IE9 is the latest version and IW10 is under development. WordPress.com has not supported IE6 or IE7 for a long time now.     I apologize for the inconvenience, but we dropped support for IE7 for new themes. Our newest themes, including Oxygen, are tested in IE8 and higher.

    I can not get the mobile version of website to pull up on a IOS/Iphone. I use oxygen theme. http://www.crossfittampabay.com When you pull up the mobile them there is no content and when you click on view full page its all scrambled. Need Help ASAP!!!!! Thanks!!!

    I get an “Object expected” error every time I open my blog http://rachelshelleyrx.wordpress.com/ with IE8 (I’m using Win XP), the other browsers I tried (Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome) seem to work fine. The error message tells me the the error is created by character 1 of line 827, i.e.,

    st_go({'blog':'34991109','v':'wpcom','user_id':'0','post':'964','subd':'rachelshelleyrx'});

    which appears to be part of the WordPress stats JavaScript code(?!).

    Is anyone seeing this error, too? Any idea how to deal with this?

    I tried to reproduce the error you mentioned above but was unable to do so. Does the error still occur for you?
