  Is there a way I can display more than 3 posts (with the featured image) on the home page – instead of displaying the “more articles” section beneath the posts?
  It’s really important for me to display 7 posts (with the featured image) and I don’t need the “more articles” section.
  Please help :) Thanks !

  If you want more than three posts and no “more articles” section, then set your front to display your latest posts instead of the Showcase template page.

  If I change it to “latest post” will it disable the featured slider image banner ?

  Yes, the slider works on the showcase template only. So you’ve got to choose what’s more important to you.
