Oxygen theme, (secundair) menu: Subitems don't appear on 'head'page

    Hi there,

I need some help with my blog: karinkoolen.com. I’m using (left) the secundair menu: ‘Portfolio’, with some subitems as ‘boeken’, ‘CV’, ‘krant’. All different pages now.

But, if you CLICK portfolio, you end up on an empty page. Is it anyhow possible to make the subitems (onder headpage portfolio) show automatically? Or, if not, what is the easiest way?

    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

As you are using Pages instead of Posts, you can’t make a single Page that will automatically display all of its subitems. Only Posts can be displayed that way (be it grouped under a Category, Tag, Date, Author, etcs).

There is no easy solution to this, unfortunately. You will have to write the contents to your Portfolio page manually to achieve the effect you want.

Another alternative is to have the Portfolio parent menu item link nowhere, so visitors can only click the submenus. This is called creating Static Parent Tabs, and this is how you do it: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#creating-static-parent-tabs

    Thank you so much, hafizr!
I’ve tried the last option, the one with the link to nowhere! Works perfectly!

    Thanks!!
