Oxygen theme – showcase page & stick to front page, not working

  I bought the Oxygen theme for my blog cfinsydney.wordpress.com and the feature to present pages as “showcase pages” and stick them to the front page of the blog doesn’t work. I’ve tried numerous times, also cleared the cookies and the cache but still it doesnt preview as a showcase page or stick itself to the front even after i’ve followed all instruction. Is there a problem with the theme I bought? Can you help?

  Hi there!

  I can definitely help you with this. It looks like you were able to successfully setup the Showcase Page template on your page titled “Welcome”. That page is also set as your front page so we’re all good there.

  In order for pages to display in the slider, you’ll need to set them as “Sticky”. Currently, I don’t see any posts labeled sticky on your blog. Can you try labeling them “Sticky” as shown here?

  Also, in order for the posts to appear in the slider, you’ll have to set a featured image that is at least 750px wide. If the image is less than 750px, the slider will not appear.

  Can you give those two steps a try?
