Oxygen Theme Slider Image Not Showing …
-
I was updating my site and created my images but when in and changed the date and time to publish an update nothing is showing up? It’s very odd because the only other time I had this problem is when the size of my image was too big. Once I changed that it worked. HOWEVER, this time around the image should be okay (it’s only 2px off in width but I’ve published like that before without issue). I’m stumped. Can anyone help?

Hi,
I find one post in the featured content slider, with a featured image displayed. Are you referring to another image on another post, or has the issue been resolved?

Thanks for the reply … no, still not resolved. The one that’s there is linked to a page on my site. I was trying to use it for a blog post about upcoming art classes I was hosting. I checked the image size and it’s fine. I am stumped.

Oxygen is retired theme, so the WordPress.com theme page for Oxygen no longer provides information regarding its features, specs, etc., but I’ll do the best I can with limited info about the theme.
I presume that you’re referring to the post Summer Art Classes, and its featured image. The featured image is quite small for a featured image, but you’ve got an even smaller one — same width, but taller — on the “Questions About Art Classes…” post that is displayed in the slider. Also, both of them are marked featured, which means (on Oxygen) that they are sticky posts. So I don’t know why the newer post isn’t showing in the slider.
I’ve flagged the topic for staff attention. Staff will respond here.
