Oxygen Theme – Tagline and Header colour changes

  Hi

  I am using the Oxygen theme and want to change the colour of the tagline as well as my headers/date etc.

  I’ve searched for help on the forums and cannot get anything to work on the CSS. Where am I going wrong?

  To change the color of the tagline, add this and replace 456789 with the hex for the color you prefer:

  .site-description {
      color: #456789;
  }

  As for the rest, “headers/date etc” won’t do: please be very precise!

  Note: you’ll be able to answer such questions yourself if you learn to use a developer extension (such as Web Inspector in Safari or Firebug in Firefox).

  Apologies, I mean the headers. If you look at my page, I mean the headers where it says Catagories, Archives etc.

  By date I mean the date of my posts.

  I posted the above into the Custom CSS but it hasn’t worked, it remains grey. Is there something somewhere else that may be over-riding the change in the CSS that I need to take out? :)

  Ah ha! Worked out the tagline, thank you! :) The headers I’m still stuck on

  Actually, I’ve worked out the Inspect Element so changed it. Thank you for your help. I think I’ll be fine now. Much appreciated.
