    You say: ‘If you prefer to use an existing site, switch its current theme to P2 by going to My Site → Themes and typing “P2” in the search bar. Then, select and activate the P2 theme.’

    My question is, does this work on a wordpress.com basic plan? I tried ‘appearance’ then ‘themes’ then ‘search’ and came up ‘no themes found.’

    Hi there,

    On what site is this?

    The original P2 theme has now been retired, so you’ll no longer find it at My Site ->Design ->Themes.

    But as long as your site existed before we retired the theme, you should still be able to activate it from the theme showcase in WP-Admin.
