P2 Theme moderation and security

    Hi,

    I have a blog and would like to link it to a seperate P2 theme blog.

    I have a couple of queries that I am hoping to get help on:

    1) Is there a way to link blogs i.e. authors on one automatically become authors on another

    2) is there a way to control the moderation on the P2 theme – I can’t see any option for this in the menu when I’m editing

    3) Can blogs be linked in any more interactive way than a simple link in the menu – for example could I put a feed in from one blog to another

    The first blog is using the intergalactic theme, which looks beautiful, but seems to lack quite a lot of functionality.

    Hi,

    1) Is there a way to link blogs i.e. authors on one automatically become authors on another

    There are various ways to link two blogs, but I’m not aware of a way of having authors on one “automatically” become authors on another. If two blogs are in the same account, they will share one author, but secondary authors in blog A will not automatically be authors in blog B. This is accomplished through invitation. See the “Invite People to Contribute to Your Blog” section of the Inviting Contributors, Followers, and Viewers support page.

    2) is there a way to control the moderation on the P2 theme – I can’t see any option for this in the menu when I’m editing

    Comment moderation is the same regardless of the theme activated. See the Discussion Settings support page.

    3) Can blogs be linked in any more interactive way than a simple link in the menu – for example could I put a feed in from one blog to another

    Yes, you may include an RSS feed for one blog in another blog. See timethief’s response in the topic Possible to pull RSS feed from one’s 2nd blog?
