P2 theme / subfolders / category tree
-
Hey,
I am using P2 Theme:
https://wordpress.com/p2/In the example…
… under ‘Getting Started’ are subfolders/files and I am little confused how you were able to create a structure like this. When I created a page then later I clicked ‘+ New Subpage’ and hoped I can then expand/collapse the category tree.
No luck.
I then played with categories and tags in posts, and still no luck.
I am out of ideas. The simple category tree sounds simple to setup but I find it hard to actually set it up. And I can’t find a quick reference guide on how to create category trees under ‘Documentation’.
Guidance needed,

Hi there,
To clarify, on P2 posts are usually intended for communication (with your team) or other time-sensitive info. For more “static” reference content like documentionat, you would instead create pages and that is what is being done in the sidebar of the P@ guide.
Here is a screenshot of the Pages section of that site:
When you publish pages they are added to the sidebar automatically, which is why you see the list of pages here mirrors the ones you see in the sidebar.
To “nest” the pages as done on the P2 guide what you will do is determine that one page is the main page or “parent page” and then you will assign the other pages a “child pages” of that parent page.
