Padding and header changes

    Hi friends,

I recently changed my Word press theme from Beginner to Twenty Seventeen and I’m having some formatting issues. Does anyone know some simple CSS code to:

    1. Make the padding space between the menu and content display smaller? The page source shows “page-header” for what I’m trying to change it. I’m referring to the “Posts” block on main page. I think it might be an advertisement box causing it however that only shows up in mobile view.

    2. Change the header background format on Main Page to match the “Blog”, “About Me”, “Places” pages? I tried matching the source code on “Blog” page but it didn’t work in Custom CSS blocks.

    3. Have the blog posts in the side bar show featured images?

Sorry for the simple questions as I’m just starting to learn CSS.
Thank you so much for any help, tips, or reference articles you can provide! :)
