Padding lost to the left in Chrome on Mac OS Yosemite

  The whole theme loses the padding on the left hand side when viewed in Chrome. It is fine in Safari. Even the live preview does this https://edindemo.wordpress.com
  The mobile level version of the theme is fine but everything above that loses this padding.

  Does anyone else see this?
  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

  Glad you found another theme, but I’d still love to get to the bottom of what you were seeing in Chrome, as I’m not seeing any left-hand padding missing on the demo.

  Thanks for your reply. I have the Edin demo at https://edindemo.wordpress.com in Chrome side by side with Safari in the screenshot link below. Both browsers are up to date and are running in Yosemite. I’ve moved to another theme since for the website I am working on but hopefully this will help someone in the future who wants to use Edin.

  Thanks for the screenshot!

  I tested the Edin theme with Chrome and didn’t see any issues with the padding. Do you have any browser extensions active in Chrome?

  You can check by pasting this into your address bar:

  chrome://extensions/

  Hi there,
  We were experiencing the same issue (the padding on the left disappearing) on one macbook pro but it working fine on another. Resolved the issue by updating OSX.

  Thanks. I checked my Yosemite version and it is up to date (10.10.2) and was updated Feb 8th. My Chrome version is also the latest: 40.0.2214.115 (64-bit). I checked the Edin live demo again and it still has the formatting issue. I’ve moved on to another theme but it would still be interesting to know what is wrong in this situation if anyone has any suggestions.

  27 inch, late 2009
  2.8 Ghz i7
  8GB DDR3
  ATI Radeon 4850 512MB
  Yosemite version 10.10.2

  Thanks for the details. I tested the Edin theme on two different Macs (one is a late-2009 21.5 inch iMac) and I have not been able to replicate this issue.

  Do you see the padding issue when using the browser at various widths?
