Page alignment issues

I wish I could post pictures to explain my issue…so I will do my best to describe.

I have several pages that all look good, things are aligned properly, and everything is justified to the left and line up with the website/company logo at the top.
Every time I add a new page now though, the text of the page is significantly indented to the right, not lining up on the left like my other pages. It all looks correct on the editing side, but when I preview it, nothing lines up and my text is really far to the right. I need it to line up with the page logo on the left. I don’t know how to solve this shift. I have spent 2hrs looking online now and I can’t seem to find answers, please help!

  • Hi there,

I don’t see any sites in the account you used to post here. Can you tell us the URL of the site you’re working on?

Once we know that, we should be able to help with this or at least direct you to the folks who can.

I should mention, the “About Us” and “Services” pages line up properly, but I created a new page for example called “Community Based ABA” and you will see it does not line up the same as those other pages.

  • Hi there,

I checked your site and unfortunately, we cannot help because we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Instead, your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, and we cannot take a closer look.

The good news is that because your host uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com), help is available at the forums here:

    https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

The folks in the open-source forum are more familiar with these issues and are in the best position to help. I hope this points you in the right direction.
