page apparently overloaded
-
When I try to edit one of my pages, my computer tells me WP is ‘not responding because of the length of the script.’ I cannot access the page. I started a new page for the new material I was going to add, but I still cannot get to the older material, even to reduce the amount of content.

You failed to provide the URL staring with https:// of the page you referred to. What is it please?

@tonyequale Just thought I’d add that a “long running script” error message doesn’t mean you have written too many words on a page or post. :) As @timethief has explained in detail it is an error message saying that some code isn’t loading correctly in your browser. I regularly experienced this and the fixes listed above didn’t help so I changed browsers and was once again a “happy” blogger.
