Page Attributes are in Spanish
-
Suddenly in the page attribute section for choosing the page template are showing up in Spanish. My site is set in English. I do not use Spanish for anything on my blog.
This is causing me to use the default page template, which isn’t now working with the layout I had originally.
The theme is Edin.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It seems to come and go. I will try to capture a screenshot if it happens again. Basically, the drop down for Template looked like this:
Default Template
Alternate Sidebar Page
Full Width Page –
then it said:
porto (sp?)
page ancho completo (not the entire phrase, but is close – possibly regarding anchor text?)Looks Portugeuse – not Spanish actually.
Front Page, Grid options disappeared from list.

Hi Cairenn,
That’s really odd — thanks for reporting that issue! Is that still happening for you? I just checked and the Edin page templates are all showing up in English for me, and I’d like to make sure it’s back to normal for you as well.
If the issue is still happening for you or if it reappears, please let me know.

It did seem to resolve itself. If it reappears I will certainly let you know. Thank you for looking into it and for responding to this so quickly. :)
The only thing that came to mind was perhaps an extension for Chrome that was activated may have been the problem. I’ve had it interfere on websites before (different issues), and since I removed it the extension, the language problem has not returned.

Thanks for letting me know, Cairenn. (If you don’t mind sharing what Chrome extension it was, I’d like to try installing it to see if I can recreate the issue on my end that way.) And thanks to goldfeesh for reporting that it’s an issue for you, too!
So far I haven’t been able to catch the issue happening on a site yet, but I’ve reported it to our team since it still seems to be appearing on and off on some sites. I’ll let you know if we manage to track down what’s causing it!

The app was for Tweepi – but emoji apps have been a problem on other websites as well. I always disable any extensions whenever there is a problem of this sort, and it almost always fixes the problem. Currently I have no problems and no extensions are enabled. :)

Mine also seemed to resolve itself when I went out and came back in. Also, I’m using Firefox, not Chrome, so that can’t be my issue.
-
Thanks for those details. :) I’ll see if our team can get to the bottom of that issue, and if it pops up again for you please let me know!
