Page Attributes missing

  page attributes missing. I am trying to set up a portfolio option on my new theme “Sketch” and in the tutorial on how to set it up (http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sketch/) it says to check “portfolio page template” under page attributes—>templates. however on my posting page under the publish bar on the side, the page attributes is nowhere to be found. help? thanks

  Hi there,

  To set up that portfolio page, please make sure you’re creating a new page rather than a new post. (You’ll only see the Page Attributes module when creating or editing a new page.)

  If you still don’t see the Page Attributes module in the page editor, you may need to enable it using the Screen Options tab in the upper right corner of the editor page.

  You can click the Screen Options tab there, and then check the box next to “Page Attributes” to make that module appear.
