Page banners are being cropped on smaller displays

  Hi

  I have designed a banner in PhotoShop and used it on my Expound theme at the top of every page. I did this by selecting Appearance > Customize.

  However, on my unrestricted display, it’s perfect until I shrink the display a bit. I do this by switching on my sidebar with my bookmarks. As soon as I do this the two edges of the banner are cropped to make way for the space the sidebar has taken up. I have a logo on each end of the banner so this really spoils the effect. Also, loading the site on my iPad leads to the same problems.

  What can I do to fix this?
