How can I disable the option to click on About Me on the Menu? I have a drop down menu for it that includes About Me and Contact Me that I’d like to be what people click on.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello @laurakseibel,
Here’ what i can suggest:
1. Create a custom menu with no link(or bogus text) on it for the parent About Me menu so that clicking on that will have no effect.
Follow these steps to do that:- Go to My Site(s) → Customize(Beside the Themes option) or just click here: https://wordpress.com/customize/. This will open the site Customizer.
- On the sidebar of the Customizer click on the Menus > tab.
- Click the Primary > tab.
- Click on Add Items button.
- Now, click on the Custom Links tab.
- On the URL field type this “javascript:void(0);” or any bogus text you like, but it should not be a link like this http://example.com or example.com or http://www.example.com.
- On the Link Text field type About Me.
- Click Add to Menu.
2. Now that you have added the custom menu item, it’s time to create the dropdown-menu(sub-menu).
Follow these steps to do that:- Tap on the original parent About Me menu and click the red remove link to remove it from the menu items.
- Drag the child menu-items i.e., About Me and Contact Me under this new parent About Me menu-item.
- Finally, click Save & Publish.
Here’s the guide that can help you set-up custom menus and sub-menus:
