Hi koolbeanz247,

If you can send me a link to the page you are having problems with, I’ll take a look :)
Thanks!

Hi. Sorry I’m responding late. I’ve also emailed help@wordpress.com about it several times but there not responding. They told me what to do to fix it but it’s still confusing. I wanted to know if it will be able to be fixed for me or no? If I have a hard time trying to fix it myself
And also some of the pictures are missing. When you scroll further down you will see how it’s all bunched together
Here is link to the page of my site

Hi koolbeanz247,
They told me what to do to fix it but it’s still confusing. I wanted to know if it will be able to be fixed for me or no?
I see a member of staff has replied and mentioned that you need to remove the ‘divs’ in your post. I’ll show you where they are. Go to the editor for your ‘The 90s Are All That’ page and click on the HTML tab:
If you scroll down you will see lots of <div> tags in the code that look like this:
https://cloudup.com/cJO19PMq5GG
These <div>tags are causing your content to look squashed. But I noticed that the images at the top of the page aren’t affected.
How are you adding your content? Are you copying it from somewhere else and pasting it into the editor?
-
Hi. I add the images by searching on Google then put the link underneath
But I’ve tried removing the divs tags several times but it’s still confusing. That’s why I had wanted to know if its possible it can be fixed for me or not.

Hi koolbeanz247,
That’s why I had wanted to know if its possible it can be fixed for me or not.
This is something you will need to fix but I can show you how to do it :)
1. Go to your ‘The 90s Are All That’ page and click on the HTML tab in the editor.
2. Remove the <div> tags. I’ve added an example below so you can see what needs to be removed:
<div class="irc_mutc idHCcpBtVBMQ-s4mcypHTTek"> <img id="irc_mi" src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/18/Tinker_Bell_DVD.jpg" alt="Image result for tinkerbell movie" width="256" height="356" /></div>Remove any <div> tags and just keep the image, which will leave you with this:
<img id="irc_mi" src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/18/Tinker_Bell_DVD.jpg" alt="Image result for tinkerbell movie" width="256" height="356" />Let me know how you get on.

Hi koolbeanz247,
And also some images are missing on the page. How would I get them back
If the images have been deleted from your Media Library, you will need to re-upload and add them back to the page manually. However, most of the images on ‘The 90s Are All That’ are links so you could restore a previous revision of the page using these steps:

Ok. But how would I get the images back on a tablet or phone. I don’t have access to a computer
I was trying to attach the screenshot but I can’t

Hi koolbeanz247,
But how would I get the images back on a tablet or phone.
The images can be saved to your tablet or phone, then uploaded to your site using a browser or the WordPress app:
I was trying to attach the screenshot but I can’t
There isn’t a way to attach a screenshot to your reply on these forums but there are coupe of other options:
- Upload it to your Media Library — just let me know when you’ve done so and I’ll take a look
- Upload it to Snaggy and send me the URL
-
Ok. I’m not able to see the images when I look at it. But will other people be able to see it when they look at it
-
Hi koolbeanz247,
Are you unable to see the images when you view the page? Or when you are editing the page?
-
Only when I view the page? But will other people be able to see them even though I can’t
-
Hi koolbeanz247,
If you let me know which image you are unable to see, I’ll check whether it is visible on the page.
-
There are a few that don’t show. I’ll give you the names
Hangin with Mr Cooper
Star trek
Degrassi
In the house
Johnny bravo
Dragon Ball z
Snow White
Mighty ducks
The Sandlot -
Hi koolbeanz247,
I see what you mean now. The URLs you are using to insert these images will no longer work because the files have been moved by the owner.
It’s better to save the image to your phone/tablet and upload it directly to your site as this will create a permanent URL — which will continue to work providing you don’t delete the image from your site. Just make sure the image you are uploading doesn’t have any copyright restrictions.

Hi koolbeanz247,
Usually there is a copyright notice at the bottom of the page. You can also ask the current owner for permission to use the image and in some cases, there is a statement to say you can use the image but you must credit the source.

Ok just one last question. For one of the pages on my site, how would I break the pages into categories? Is that possible or no? For example if I wanted to have a fashion space then a writing space or like a story space for that particular page
