Page content not appearing
-
Hi there,
I’m hoping someone can help me out. I created a page and added some content to it. I saved it, then added the page as a menu item across the top of the site. When I click on the page name in the menu, it opens but it doesn’t show the content.
Any ideas how to make the page content appear?
Thanks,

If you want a menu item to link to a page and not a category, make sure “page” is the type selected for the item at https://wordpress.com/menus/candacerubie.wordpress.com

Thanks for the suggestions. I used the “page” item when I selected what I wanted to include in the menu. I’ve used the categories before as well.
If you look at my webpage, the link that isn’t working is called “Program Portfolio”. It worked when I initially created it back in December. Now the content of the page doesn’t show. I may have to delete it and do it over again.

Ah, now that I know which page you were talking about, I see what you mean.
It’s because the portfolio option is enabled for your blog and you happened to use the slug “portfolio” for your Program Portfolio page.
You can fix it by disabling the portfolio object like this:
1. Go to WP Admin > Settings > Writing
2. Find the “Portfolio Projects” and uncheck the option
3. Click the “Save Changes” buttonRelated help page:
