Page dedicated to a category

    Okay, I have looked all over the forums and found different answers. None seem to do what I am looking to do.

    Basic Info:
    I run WordPress on a personal domain, not through wordpress. I use the Platform Theme for now since I am a newbie and still learning.

    What I need help with:
    I want to have a page, that when you click the link it goes to posts in a certain category. Yes I know you can just go down to categories, but this is a main category that I don’t want people to have to serch for. I want it to be obvious in the navigation part of my site.

    The page I am wanting is for the category Events. I want to hide said event posts from the normal posts and only make them visible here. I am sinking these posts using event calendar 3, and have the calendar on the main page, but I want people to be able to view all upcoming events. I’ve tried it a few different ways and just can get what I’m looking for.

    I’ve tried the href url in the title…..leave the menu looking odd, and when the link works, it does the category search thing where is states you are viewing category “events” above the posts.

    I will want to do this with other “pages”, so a better calendar tip that handles this better would be appreciated, but I still would like to find out if this is possible.

    BTW, i think the platform free version blocks accessing the php coding as I have been unable to find ways to edit it. I’ve only been able to load coding in the content area, and I have Exec-php to help.
