Page display issues on Ipad

    One of my pages, Pursuits of the Palate, is not displaying the text correctly on my Ipad unlike my Iphone 4s or my laptop (Macbook Air). The text to the right of each image on this page (only on the Ipad) first loads correctly then shifts to the right and is truncated and only partially visible.

    Can you assist me here so that this once again displays correctly?

    Thanks

  • Hi there,

    It appears that there was a problem with the HTML code for the second image, which was causing it to display at the wrong size, and as a result “pushed” the table you have added off of the page.

    If you switch to the text view in your editor, you should be able to locate the following image URL for the second image:

    src="http://slavetothegrape.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/img_1481.jpg?width=270" height="220"

    If you change it to this, the issue will clear up:

    src="http://slavetothegrape.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/img_1481.jpg?w=300" width=270" height="220"

    If I can ask, how did you create this table in the first place? Tables can be very problematic, especially on mobile, so it would be a good idea to avoid their use.

    Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Thanks much. This fixed the problem.

    I created the table with a friend who is fairly versed in html but must have inadvertently deleted the w=300 marker that he would have originally coded for me.

    You guys rock!

    Happy Holidays
