Page editing and Page creation

    Hi,
    I am very new to WordPress. I have never worked with WP before and I need some help.

    I have to make a few changes to a site.
    1) I need to add 2 more page to this site.
    2) I need to change the imgs from the carousel from the first page (home page).

    1) After I played around I encountered a few problems.
    1. I create the page from Pages > New page, and I did not new how to customize that page. I eventually found the templates and I started to play around with them to see what up. But I found not achieve what I want to achieve witch is adding more “products” with img and next to them, Name and Description. But I found out that in the text editor I could add my own HTML and CSS using the code tag.
    Q. Is it ok if I add my own HTML and CSS or I would build the page the same exact way the person before me did?
    PS: The theme editor is called: TDP page builder and the theme is called SmartFood

    2. I tried to add that page to the menu but when I did I encounter 2 problems. One of which I’ll talk at point 3.
    After I saved and refresh the page I got an error that said that the site is not secure and I could not enter the site only if I would have press -continue to the site unsafe- twitch. This appears even tho in the cPanel it should that the SSL is valid.
    Q. Did that happened because of me? And how do I fix it?

    3. The second problem is that the button does not position itself correctly in the menu. It goes under the other buttons. I let you a screenshot so you can see.
    Q. How do I fix it? Do I need to remove some of the buttons? I don’t think I can do that.

    2) I have found the home page template but I did not found the carousel inside of it. Any idea where I could look for it. I’ll also leave you a ss so you can see
