page editing and redirecting from homepage

    when adding a page in the menu in the header(like a shop page, or and about us page), whenever i try to edit one of these pages using elementor, it takes me to a section with the homepage and not the blank page that I want to edit, so any page that I try to edit takes me to the home page of the website, the only difference is that in the bottom of the home page is the name of the page that I want to edit initially. for example when I try to edit the shop page with elementor, it takes me to the home page with bold text in the very bottom saying shop
