Page excerpt not changing after editing

  This page excerpt is stuck to an old version when I paste the link into twitter: ‘https://rentwisle.wordpress.com/nebula’
  I think this may be a bug. Even after editing the excerpt and saving nothing changes when I share the page online. My magazine has since changed names and the old description confuses things, so it’s imperative that I fix this as soon as possible. Can anyone please help?

  I have the same problem. I eliminated text in a post excerpt. It shows correctly in Windows and different browsers but it dos not change in Mobile Android version. Why?

  Same here! I use a computer with Firefox and the excerpt doesn’t change. It is definitely a bug and I wonder if WordPress will respond.

  I have learned since I posted this HELP that the way the ‘excerpt’ is rendered on Mobile is different from the way is rendered on computer browsers.
  The excerpt on Mobile pulls not from the ‘excerpt’ field, which you edit in WordPress.com posts, but from the actual post. In fact the excerpt on Mobile it just the truncated first 50 words or so on the post.
  The excerpt on mobile, of course, does not allow any usage of HTML/CSS.
