Page External URL

I changed a page external url for my page header, but it keeps linking to the old url when clicked. I’ve tried deleting and recreating the page, but the header still links to the old url instead of any new one I put in.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot link this URL http://thewanderfulsoul.wordpress.com/ to any other URL without purchasing a domain name and or a domain mapping upgrade.

As you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog.

Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

The page is already linked to an external url, it is just not the correct one, I’m trying to figure out why the page is going to the old url that was there instead of any new one that I put in.
