Page for editing post is screwed up

    Hi there,

    I strongly assume this is a problem encountered many times before but I have not got a clue with regards to scripts and how they work on individual browsers so I thought the community could help me out.

    When I want to create a new blog post, the layout has all of sudden been eschewed where it was completely fine just a few week ago. What I mean by this is that the box for writing has been pushed way down to the bottom of page, squished together so you can only see three lines of text at the time and leaving a huge, empty gap in the middle of the screen.

    In short, it looks crap and makes writing new blog posts very tedious.

    Does this problem sound familiar to any of you and could you perhaps pinpoint me to a way of solving this small but annoying issue?

    Hi @philipblydnikow .

    Thank you for reporting this. This is a known bug that our team’s working at fixing, and I’ve added your details to the report for them.

    Can you let me know whether you’re zoomed into your browser screen? If so, you can you try resetting the zoom and letting me know whether that helps with the problem? You can do this in Firefox by heading to View > Zoom > Reset.

    If that doesn’t help, you can access the classic editor directly through WP Admin as @timethief explained. Here’s the direct link to WP Admin for you:

    From there, hover over Posts on the left-hand, and then select either Add New or All Posts to get to the classic editor.

    Thank you for your answers.

    Zooming out does not make a difference but I am content with working with the old editor for the time being.
