Page Headers & TikTok Link Logo
-
Hello! I’m working on building my new site with this theme. I’m usually fairly tech savvy with WordPress, but 2 issues that I cannot find a solution for are as followed:
– 1) Besides my Homepage, My “About” page and “Contact” page both have these really unsightly headers in the final version. On my Homepage it’s “greyed out”, but the other two pages it’s impossible to “turn off”. Does anyone know a work around for this?
– 2) Using the social media links menu, I’m happy to see automatically that a logo has appeared for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram… however I see no logo for TikTok unfortunately. I know other “blocks” in the theme can do it, but perhaps the social media menu can’t? Does anyone know a fix?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,

On the majority of WordPress themes, posts and pages will show the post/page title. You’ll also see a similar title at the top of all archive pages, like category or search result pages. This specific theme offers an option to hide the title on the front page, but it doesn’t have an option to do this on other pages.
To hide the title on other pages on the site, you’ll need to override the theme using custom CSS code. You can do this on our Premium Plan and higher:

The social links menu doesn’t support an icon for TikTok yet, but it’s on our feature request list and will hopefully get added soon.

Thank you! I was able to uncover a workaround for the page titles. I basically removed the title all together, and then in the menu customize area, I “titled” each page there (kind of like when you do a hyperlink) and that seemed to work.
