Page Help

    Hiya all,

I’m new to this whole WordPress thing and have a few questions i hope can get answered!

    Thanks in advance

When i go to my page, i have my posts that i’ve put in down the middle. Now i want a bit on the top that is stuck, that never moves, and with all the blog posts below that. Is that understandable?

So like i have a description of the product at the top and then below that i have all the blog posts, so when i update my blog posts and add more, it doesnt get rid of that top bit.

Which leads onto my second question

With the blog posts i want a kind of snapshot of what it’s about, and then a click here to read the rest kind of thing, so that i can save room and my middle page isn’t so long.. Is that possible? Also then i would like to have a weekly sort of structure, so that they can see lasts weeks blog posts by clicking “last weeks / 2 weeks ago” and then they get a drop down for the blogs posted then, and only this weeks have a little description and a read more feature straight away?

If this doesn’t make sense just ask where and i’ll try and make more sense out of it..

    Thanks!

    -Otis

That is not a wordpress.com blog, so I’m afraid you’re in the wrong place for help. Try http://wordpress.org/support

It is a wordpress blog, just it’s hosted on a different server. It uses the same format ect so the help you give me will work :)

Please read the sticky thread at the top of the forum on the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org. We cannot help you here.
