page hero element not showing up on the homepage

  hello,
  i have designed a custom homepage and added gp elements in it, the page hero element shows up on normal page, but when i change the settings of homepage to that static page, the hero element does not shows up.
  how can i fix this ?

  where is the answer?
  that thread is about how to create hero section and this one is about I have managed to create one but it did not showed up on the site.
