Page icon on Facebook share
-
Hi ~ I’ve got my page all set to share with the world! The only problem I’m having is that when I try to share the page on my Facebook wall, the link appears with two blank thumbnails. My page has a big, beautiful header and I would like that to be thumbnail when I share the link, but I’ll take just about anything at this point.
I went to Facebook’s Open Graph Object Debugger and received this info:
“Extraneous Property Objects of this type do not allow properties named ‘article:publisher’.
Parser Mismatched Metadata The parser’s result for this metadata did not match the input metadata. Likely, this was caused by the data being ordered in an unexpected way, multiple values being given for a property only expecting a single value, or property values for a given property being mismatched. Here are the input properties that were not seen in the parsed result: ‘article:publisher'”
Is it possible for me to fix this, or am I doomed to share my site without a thumbnail image?
Thanks!

Just an update: after further sleuthing, I understand the problem is that the Facebook “scrape” for open graph tags yields the following for my site’s image – <meta property=”og:image” content=”https://s0.wp.com/i/blank.jpg”>
I don’t suppose there’s any way to modify that on a basic WordPress-hosted site (is there?), but is there a workaround?

Needless to say, yes, your suggestion worked! Thanks as always!
