  Hi how can I find the page id of the blog page itself?

  Hello there!

  This article should help with posts http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-find-post-category-tag-comments-or-user-id-in-wordpress/

  And you can just use .blog as a selector for the main blog page.

  Thanks for the fast replying Sage, the .blog worked, Im trying to reduce the space from the first post to the top

  That’s great to hear it worked!

  This should help move the first post up:

  .blog article:nth-child(2) {
  	padding-top: 0px !important;
  }
