page jumps or anchors

  I have followed your instructions to the letter/symbol re: creating and linking to anchors or page jumps but it does not work.

  I would like to create hyperlinks from one post to specific places on another post. I have gone into the html and typed in

  anchorpoint

  and then first tried to link it through the visual page link button. The anchor #amma did not show up in the list so I manually entered the full link including http://postaddress/#amma and that didn’t work. I published each time and tested the link. It only went to the post, not the specific section I wanted to go to on the post (where the html code was put).

  I then tried typing out the code in the html Amma . This also only sent the link to the top of the post and not the part of the blog I wanted it to go to.

  I then tried to just link from the same post rather than switching posts. This also didn’t work.

  Can you help?
