.page-link numbers after Class Sharedaddy–BAD
-
I have read several threads where bloggers ask if page links [after Related Post/Sharedaddy in my blog] can be moved to a more findable position for readers.
The basic answer is NO!
There must be a better way. Using Custom CSS and the code below, I have positioned the page links where I want them for this post.
.page-links {position: relative; top: -455px;}
This works on each page, once the post is open. The exact same position each time.
The problem is the relative positioning puts the page-links in a wrong position until the article is opened. This is not something a professional blogger wants.
WordPress.com positions the number links at a different position until the post is opened. That is at the end of the article. I thought the positioning would be the same for each page; but, that is not the case. That is not good!
It seems that if I can find a way [using CSS] to get the positioning I want on all but closed articles/post, that WordPress.com staff could resolve this problem for its bloggers and readers. I hope…
Can page IDs be used for each page of a post? If so, I can use a different vertical position for a post that has not been opened. Just a thought…
I have used direct wording and the color red that I hope will allow my readers for find page links. I think I am asking too much. My impression is not a lot of viewers read much of the text in articles.
Use the Page Number Selector below and after Related [further below: after the article is open] to go…
I have tried to be clear with my statement of the problem and possible directions toward a solution. We are looking for Happy Bloggers and readers, as well.
Thanks!
