page menu

Can I add a menu on the right hand side showing pages on my blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Yes, you can. That right hand sidebar area can be populated with Widgets, which are small bits of contents for your site. One of the available Widgets is the Pages Widgets, which does what you are looking for.

I added the page widget, but i don’t see it on the right hand side of my page. Why would that be?
-
You don’t currently have any pages on the blog at toesinmotion.wordpress.com so the Pages widget has nothing to display.
If you prefer, you can use the “Recent posts” widget to display posts.
If you’re not sure of the differences, please see:

I understand what your saying. But if I add pages. I will have duplicate menu tabs. My menu tabs are all custom.

Note there are multiple threads posted by louisgaudry and though I tried to was unable to explain things in a manner that could be understood. -
For the record I had given up trying to figure it out and stopped asking. But Jackiedana was kind enough to answer. So now I have marked mu post as resolved. I will not bother anymore.

If you are using a custom menu, you can choose which pages/links to display and which not to display, and whether or not to add new pages automatically.
You will need pages on your site before the Pages widget will display pages. It will not display posts or third-party links.
