Page name links to external page

  I’ve read a few posts around here.

  The most usefull was this one -> https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/embedding-google-calendar?replies=17#post-284355

  But still my knowledge doesn’t allow me to link the page to the google calendar.

  I wish I was able to link my google calendar in page title as in this wordpress blog’s Event calendar page -> http://phhskc.wordpress.com/

  Could anyone explain it to me step by step, because above mentioned topic couldn’t help me.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  1. Copy the URL of your google calendar from the address bar of your browser and paste it in a simple text editor (not Word).

  2. Turn it into a link using this code model:
  <a href="URL_HERE" target="_blank">TITLE_HERE</a>
  (Title has to be two or more words, or a word and a space.)

  3. Copy the result and paste it in the title box of a new page you publish.

  Hmm, I have my http://rosehip.wordpress.com set up in the MistyLook theme – when I try pasting in a link using this format and saving my new page, it removes the (space)target=”_blank” portion and condenses the rest all into one word, thereby breaking the trick. Is this one of the themes it doesn’t play well with?

  @rosehip: I’ve made a mistake in my post above. The trick doesn’t work with the open-in-a-new-window version of the link code (no matter what the theme); has to be the plain version:
  <a href="URL_HERE">TITLE_HERE</a>
  That would work in Misty Look – but the tabs won’t be perfect.

  well i have been trying this for hours with the space and everything and it just does not work. ddk advertising and it just will not work!!!

  @ddk – You’ve already started a thread about this with ALL CAPS so there’s no need to post again and try to hijack a thread.

  It does not work for you because the theme you are using does not have a tabbed header.

  Hey thax i was using one actually a couple and it just didn’t seem to work so i have no idea what to do. Its not even in the WordPress book for Dummies that i bought today.
