Page 'name' present on Page

    Hello,

My website is catparker.com, and I’m using the Expound theme. On each webpage on my site, the ‘name’ of the page, such as ‘About Cat’ shows up at the top of the page – I don’t mean in the menu line, but on the actual page. This seems redundant to me, and I’d like to eliminate it, but I can’t figure out how to do so. Suggestions?

    Peace
    Cat

    Hi Cat,

Hiding page titles requires CSS customization, which requires the premium upgrade. If you have that, then I would suggest you add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this post to call for staff atttention. There are forum topics, such as Trying to hide the page title on each page, in which a code is provided to the OP asking for the same thing, but I don’t know if the proper code would be theme dependent.

    Regards,

    This seems redundant to me

That’s understandable, but don’t forget that some people may visit the page from an external link, e.g. a search engine search result, and the page title might serve the purpose of confirming to the visitor that they’ve arrived at the correct page, or (conversely) the wrong page.
