Page not appearing in menu

I have been trying to add an existing page to the menu of my site and am getting no where. I have checked that the site is set to public, and has the same settings as the other pages on the menu and am still having no luck. I made a copy of the page and tried to add that one and it didn’t work. Then I made sure that all media on the page was saved to backend media library which it is. I also checked to see if the theme I am using has a menu limit, it doesn’t. Then I checked the location of the menu and made sure it was all the same location pulling through. The only thing I can really see is that the page is pulling through on the social menu and not on the primary menu even though they are both coming form the same source. Now I am at a loss, I have no coding experience so am wary of delving into the code of the site itself. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there! 👋🏼

Here’s how you can add pages to the menu in Site Editor:

    WP

This guide will show you how to add links to your menu. 📌 To determine which section of this guide to follow, visit your dashboard and check under Appearance on the left side. If you see Editor, use the Site Editor section of this guide. Otherwise, use the WP Admi

Hello, thanks for all your help. I think I figured out why it was not showing, I had embedded two YouTube videos onto the page and this seemed to have caused an error. As a quick fix I took screenshot of the thumbnail for each of the videos and then linked the YouTube video to open on a different tab, I’m not entirely sure if that is what fixed or if it was because I added a hyperlink in the body of text on my homepage.

  • Glad you’ve got it, @abeginnersguidetomarketing!

For what it’s worth, embedding two videos on a page shouldn’t be an issue, but I’m guessing when you were making those edits you got whatever snippet of something was causing the problem.

When you were running into this, was it while you were editing the navigation itself? Or where were you getting stuck? If you want to just move on now that you’ve got it, I get that, but if you can share more about any errors you getting that would be helpful, too!
