Page not displaying after domain mapping
-
Hi There,
We recently purchased mapping for http://www.mikeypowell-campaign.org.uk attached to http://www.mikeypowellcampaign2.wordpress.com/
We’ve done this many many times before, and have changed nameserver settings with the domain provider, and deleted the files and domain-hosting from the previous hosted database on GoDaddy.
We understand this takes a while to propagate, however the site (as now built on wordpress.com) displayed for a while but then disappeared and we are now just getting a blank page with the words ‘pageok’ displayed in the top left corner.
Any ideas what’s gone wrong here?
Many thanks

Clear your browser cache and cookies please and know that back and forth switching is normal while propagation takes place.
It can take as long as 72 hours for DNS changes to become widely available. If you’re still not seeing your site loading at http://mikeypowell-campaign.org.uk/ please wait a few more hours, clear your browser cache, and try again.
I’m in Canada and the blog is correctly redirecting to your domain for me. See here to observe the progress https://www.whatsmydns.net/ and know it’s not uncommon for your own ISP to be last to flush their DNS cache.

Thank you! Okay that’s cool as long as it doesn’t appear to be anything too weird or problematic, we can wait.
Thanks again.

There’s nothing problematic going on. Bookmark the link I provided and watch the progress there. :)
