Page not Found
-
Hello. I have three blogs with WordPress and love them! Unfortunately, when I try to get to one of them it comes up as ‘Page Not Found’ (the other two are fine). all three are linked to my single account. Why is my one blog no longer accessible when I can still access the other two? I hope I have not lost all that work? The domain is fatandthefurioustunes.wordpress.com (“Music In Motion”). Please help. :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
This is what I recieve when trying to access that single blog: The requested URL “fatandthefurioustunes.wordpress.com” cannot be found or is not available.
-
Upon further investigation, I can access my blog through an Explorer browser and not through Firefox (which is my preferred method). While I am received all my information is still there, what might I do differently to attempt to fix the issue with my Firefox browser?
-
Now I am receiving a “Site not configured at this address” message in my Firefox browser? Any word on what might be occurring? Is this a widespread problem?
-
Please, anything to let me know that I’m not crazy here would be very helpful and appreciated.

Hi there,
Are you referring to http://fatandthefurioustunes.wordpress.com/
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:

(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. Try using another browser.
5. If you are not successful let us know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
(c) And what any error reports you receive state. -
P.S. I`m using Firefox 25 and have no difficulty at all accessing that blog. Exactly which page do your receive the error message on?
-
Thank you Timethief. I’m not sure what you mean by “what page do you receive…”
I can confirm that I am using the latest most updated version of Firefox as per that Browsehappy site.
I’m confused why only the blog is not appearing in my browser while the others are seemingly fine.
-
I can access the Dashboard, make posts, edit, even view the post after I’ve posted it, etc…but it will not let me view the actual blog home page. That is where I get the “Site not configured” part.

I`m not seeing that. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

My wonderful girlfriend has solved this issue for me. By adding an ‘s’ to to the http:// url of Firefox, the page opens. The ‘s’ for whatever reason, is not needed in the IE browser. I’m not sure why this is and I’m sure this is probably pretty silly for some (I’m a tech numbnut I guess), but I am happy that I can view my home page again.

Yes, we also had to erase my browsing history and cache to that the new URL link would connect through my profile.
